Hi folks! I managed to sign up to the FB page for this ages ago…. and then forgot to start! My excuse is that we were away on hols on 1 Jan. So on Saturday 16 I realised it was now or never, buckled down and read several chapters of Genesis. Actually it was really good to see the sweep of the story in a big-ish block. Then I had a couple more sessions yesterday and today am officially up to date with Genesis. It did strike me what a different world we live in – can’t really imagine Abraham thinking ‘oh yeah, I’m sure loads of people will be reading about me in a couple of thousand years time, sitting comfortably at home with a cappuchino to hand’!
Anyway…. I just need to catch up with Matthew and Psalms now. Do you think anyone will notice if I don’t do them until NEXT year?
